Residential Trash Pickup Plans

Clark's charges one monthly price for weekly trash pickup in Elmira. Every price below is per month, not per pickup. Pick the plan that matches how many bags your house sets out each week.

Plans are counted by the bag, not by the can. A bag means one tied bag of household trash. If you set out 3 bags a week, you want the 3 Bag plan, even if they all fit in one can.

Clark's residential trash pickup is a monthly subscription for weekly curbside service. You pick a plan based on how many bags you put out each week. You set your bags at the curb on your pickup day, and our truck takes them. That is the whole service.

What areas does Clark's pick up trash in?
Clark's picks up residential trash in Elmira, West Elmira, Elmira Heights, and Horseheads. If you live in one of those areas, you are on the route.
How much is weekly trash pickup?
Plans are $20 a month for up to 1 bag a week, $24 a month for up to 3 bags, and $28 a month for up to 5 bags. Each price is a monthly rate for weekly pickup, counted by the bag.
Is the price per bag or per trash can?
Per bag. Your plan is based on how many tied bags of household trash you set out each week, not on how big your can is or how many cans you own. Five bags stuffed into one can still counts as five bags.
Do you give me a trash can?
No. Clark's does not supply trash cans. You use your own can, or you can set your tied bags at the curb. Your plan is counted by the bag either way.
What day is my pickup?
West Elmira, Horseheads, and Elmira Heights are picked up Monday, so set your trash out Sunday night. The rest of Elmira is picked up Thursday and Friday.
What can I put out for pickup?
Bagged household trash only. We do not take loose trash, bulk items, furniture, yard waste, or hazardous material on the trash route.
Is there a contract?
No long term contract. Clark's bills the plan monthly. Call (607) 426-6040 if you need to change or stop your service.
What if I have more trash than my plan covers?
Call (607) 426-6040 and we will move you to a bigger plan. For a large cleanout, a roll off dumpster is usually the cheaper way to go.
